GP & specialist referrals
Send us your referral.
Upload your referral letter, or simply enter your patient’s details, and our rooms will contact your patient directly to arrange an appointment. Not every referral leads to surgery — every patient receives a clear diagnosis and management plan.
- Address referrals to Dr David Edis, Victorian Orthopaedic Spine Service
- Include relevant history, examination findings and treatment to date
- Attach imaging reports where available. Not urgent? Refer first and we can arrange imaging
- Workcover and TAC referrals are welcome — please include the claim number
- Download the Spine Referral Guide for GPs (PDF)
Please phone the rooms on (03) 8683 9039 so we can prioritise your patient. Red flags — cauda equina symptoms, rapid neurological decline, or suspected infection, malignancy or unstable fracture — need urgent emergency department assessment.
